Robert Rose joined Bosson Legal Group, P.C. in June of 2020. He focuses his practice on personal injury and general civil litigation.

Before joining Bosson Legal Group, Mr. Rose was employed with the Christian Legal Aid of DC for five years, including as its Executive Director from 2017-20. In his time there, he managed the organization, supervised its pro bono attorneys, and maintained a diverse practice for its pro bono and low bono clientele in the areas of child custody, estate litigation, criminal record sealing, civil rights, and employment, among others. Previously, Mr. Rose has practiced primarily personal injury and general civil litigation for close to five years in the Hampton Roads area, most recently with East Coast Trial Lawyers, PLC. In 2015, he was recognized as a Super Lawyers, Rising Star in the field of "Personal Injury."

Originally from North Jersey, Mr. Rose graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2007 before enrolling at Regent University School of Law, from which he graduated cum laude in 2010. Mr. Rose has been admitted to practice in Virginia, D.C., and New Jersey, as well as multiple federal district courts.

Experience:

Mr. Rose has extensive experience litigating cases in the following areas:

Personal Injury – Mr. Rose has represented numerous individuals in state and federal courts who have suffered traumatic injuries, including wrongful deaths and quadriplegia, from automobile accidents, slip and falls, intentional assaults, and medical malpractice. Mr. Rose has also represented large corporations in premises liability defense work.

General Civil Litigation – Mr. Rose has represented dozens of individuals and corporate entities in litigation regarding business transactions, legal malpractice, estate or trust disputes, and labor and employment law, among other areas.

Vaccine Injury Compensation – Mr. Rose has also represented several individuals injured by severe reactions to vaccinations through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). He is a member of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association.

Expungements/Criminal Record Sealing – Applying the expertise he developed through his work with the Christian Legal Aid of DC, Mr. Rose has helped seal well more than 100 criminal records for individuals with criminal backgrounds, thereby removing barriers his clients faced to employment, housing, and other potential benefits.  He continues to represent former criminal defendants and arrestees in petitions for expungement before Virginia Circuit Courts, as well as motions to seal and motions to set aside convictions before the D.C. Superior Court.
